Employee’s Children Education Welfare Policy

Gulshan Homz has also initiated Gulshan Homz Employee’s Children Education Welfare Policy. Under this, the company pays the educational fee of children till 10th class.

Labours and their families Support

The CSR arm has been extended to labours and their families as well. The company provides medical facility to all labours. Crèche has been created at all sites to take care of the labour’s children. Along with this, the basic education has been provided to all the labour’s children.

Gulshan Homz CSR Policy

INTRODUCTION

At Gulshan Homz the CSR means the accountability towards the society at large, the people whom we made of. Our Founder Sh. Gulshan Nagpal mantra is “Swasth Raho, Vyast Raho, Mast Raho” and he always abide by his lines, and wants to share this happiness with others and society at large. We at Gulshan Homs continues to uplift the rural areas and peoples by providing better medical facilities, quality education to the child of financially weaker section of the Society.

We share helping hand to the society at large.

OUR VISION

Through sustainable measures, actively contribute to the Social, Economic and Environmental Development of the community in which we operate ensuring participation from the community and thereby create value for the nation.

ACTIVITIES LISTED IN SCHEDULE VII OF THE COMPANIES ACT 2013
  • Eradicating hunger, poverty and malnutrition, promoting preventive health care and sanitation and making available safe drinking water
  • Promoting education, including special education and employment enhancing vocation skills especially among children, women, elderly, and the differently abled and livelihood enhancement projects
  • Promoting gender equality, empowering women, setting up homes and hostels for women and orphans; setting up old age homes, day care centers and such other facilities for senior citizens and measures for reducing inequalities faced by socially and economically backward groups
  • Ensuring environmental sustainability, ecological balance, protection of flora and fauna, animal welfare, agroforestry, conservation of natural resources and maintaining quality of soil, air and water
  • Protection of national heritage, art and culture including restoration of buildings and sites of historical importance and works of art; setting up public libraries; promotion and development of traditional arts and handicrafts
  • Measures for the benefit of armed forces veterans, war widows and their dependents
  • Training to promote rural sports, nationally recognised sports, Paralympic sports and Olympic sports
  • Contribution to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund or any other fund set up by the Central Government for socio-economic development and relief and welfare of the Scheduled Caste, the Scheduled Tribes, other backward classes, minorities and women
  • Contributions or funds provided to technology incubators located within academic institutions which are approved by the Central Government
  • Rural development projects

ACTIVITES TO UNDERTAKE IN 2015-16
  • First and Foremost, the shortfall of expenditure incurred in year 2014-15 of Rs. 9,31,374/- shall be incurred in development and promotion of Education in rural areas, providing better infrastructure facilities at schools.
  • Further, the expenditure required to be incurred during the coming financial year i.e. 2015-16 is Rs. 6,79,513/-
  • Committee undertakes to develop and promote education in rural area providing the better infrastructure by constructing/reconstructing school, sanitation, hygiene and facilities including fresh water, fans, healthcare measures etc. in coming years.
  • The School adopted by Gulshan Homz Private Limited, namely Junior High School Jalpura, Gautam Budh Nagar, U.P. shall be the prime education development project of the Committee.
  • Any Other CSR expenditure under the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013.
GOVERNANCE MECHANISM

The CSR Committee of the Board will govern and review the CSR of the company from time to time. The CSR Committee will recommend the Annual Business Plan for CSR to the Board for its approval. The plan will include resource requirements and allocation across interventions and locations. The composition of the CSR committee of the board is as below:

CSR FUNDS

The corpus for the purpose of carrying on the aforesaid activities would include the followings:

  • 2% of the average Net Profit made by the Company during immediately preceding three Financial Years.
  • Any income arising there from.
  • Surplus arising out of CSR activities carried out by the company and such surplus will not be part of business profit of the company.
MONITORING

The CSR Committee will provide regular progress report to the CSR Committee of the Board. This report would indicate:

  • Achievement since last progress report / during the last year in terms of coverage compared to the target and reasons for variance.
  • Achievement of the year-to-date in terms of coverage compared to the target, plans to overcome shortfalls if any and support required from the CSR Committee/Board to overcome the shortfalls.
  • Actual year-to-date spends compared to the budget and reasons for variance.
  • In respect of activities undertaken through outside Trust/Society/NGO's etc. there will be mechanism of reporting of progress on each such activities and the amount incurred thereon.
REVIEW OF POLICY

This CSR policy document will be reviewed from time to time and any changes, if necessary, will be approved by the CSR Committee of the Board.
